1.A primary (primary fermentation vessel) which most of the time comes in the form of a plastic bucket or pail to mix concoction with ingredients.

2. A sieve or a mesh bag or a nylon straining bag where you will put your chopped or crushed fruits and berries to extract the aroma.

3. Sterile cloth that will cover the bucket during the primary and prevent contaminants and bacteria from getting into concoction.

4. A siphon hose to transfer the wine from the primary to the secondary fermentation vessel as well as to rack the wine.

5. A secondary fermentation vessel, most of time, Carboys are used as secondaries because it is easy to airlock and it is more resistant to scratching.

6. Air lock which is vital for the anaerobic fermentation process that the mixture must go through to produce wine.

7. Bottles to age wine.

8. Corks.

9. Hydrometer to measure the specific gravity of wine.

Some of the tools can be replaced by common household items, but remember that they have to be sanitized and sterile.
