Most Unusual Wine Recipe – Banana Wine

Hi there! Was away for a long time, drinked a lot of wine, bu couldn’t find time to write posts. J
Now I’m back with new exotic wine recipe and will post new instructions on how to make homemade wine shortly!
4 1/2 lb. bananas
1/2 lb. chopped golden raisins
3 lb. granulated sugar
1 lemon (juice only)
1 orange (juice only)
1 gallon water
wine yeast and nutrient
Peel and chop bananas and place them in grain-bag. Close tight, place it in large pan and bring to boil. Gently simmer for 30 minutes. Now mix liquid with sugar and juices in primary fermentation vessel, carefully stir. When cool enough to handle, squeeze grain-bag to extract as much liquid as possible and add to vessel. When liquid cools till 70 degrees F. add yeast and nutrient, then cover and leave in warm place for a week. Then move to a coller place for another 2 months. Divide liquor from sediment into secondary fermentation vessel, add raisins, and fit airlock. Rack after four months and again in another four months. Wine is ready in about half a year, but will improve with ages. .
