Apple Homemade Wine

    Ingredients:

  • 4,5 lbs of apples
  • 2,5 glasses of sugar
  • 0,5 gallons of water
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Carefully wash apples, cut in small pieces, put them in a saucepan. Add water, cinnamon and boil till apples get soft. Let sit overnight. Add the rest of ingredients. Stir carefully and leave for fermentation for 5-6 days or till it’s over. Stir daily. Strain the juice. Pour into another bottle and close with an airlock.

For a dry wine, rack in three weeks,and every three months for one year.

For a sweet wine, rack in three weeks. Add 1/2 glass of sugar dissolved in 1 glass of wine. Stir gently and place back into secondary fermenter. Repeat process every six weeks until fermentation does not restart with the addition of sugar. Rack every three months until one year old.

When wine is ready, strain it again and bottle. Keep in cool and dark place.
